Train playground

We had a free Sunday afternoon and didn't want to waste the pretty Spring weather!

We took bluebonnet pictures, got a haircut and headed to our nearby "train playground".  It's a city park with a few facilities, a dog park and a big sandy playground area (right next to train tracks).  On a good day, we can see 3 trains go by within an hour.  I took the metal detector in hopes of finding a few loose coins, but had very few "beeps".  It doesn't differentiate between coins or bottle caps.  :)

Anyway, here is Lucy perched up on the jungle gym, waving at the train conductor
Sometimes, if we wave hard enough, the train conductor will toot his horn at us!

Seeing her perched up on the gym made me realize what a lovely little lady she is becoming
She found 3 empty bear-shaped plastic drink bottles while on the playground and set up a mini-performance of "Lucy-locks and the 3 bears".  We used to call her Lucy-locks when she was younger because her bathwater was too hot, then too cold, then it was just-right.  :)

Here she is in baby bear's bed which was just-right.
