Family Leadership, weekend 5

I was able to attend the 5th weekend at Embassy Suites for the Family Leadership series--great to see all of my old friends again! 

Friday night's meal was blackened snapper--super yum!

I started Saturday morning on my usual run...the weather was perfect and I enjoyed the change of scenery

We had a good workshop with Texas Parent to Parent, learning about the legislative process.  We also has a great simulation activity, with goggles set specifically with our child's visual impairment.   My goggles were 20/60 and 20/200 with field restrictions.  I was definitely spilling more as it was a food-preparation activity!
