Lucy and I went to the annual downtown festival last weekend, complete with popcorn, apple cider, games, crafts, etc. It wasn't as cold as in years past, but they still had a bonfire to warm up with. Here is me and my toothy smiler
The next day we had our DARS holiday party, with more crafts, food, games and fun.

Small world--Minnie attends Kinder at the same school where my Mom taught Kinder a few years ago before she retired--Minnie's teacher was on the same team as my Mom!
Also on the same weekend, J and Lucy making Christmas cookies
And as if the weekend wasn't exciting enough, two bucks got entangled out on my parent's land and the game warden had to be called out to get them unstuck. Unfortunately, one buck had already died (broken neck) and the other was given a 50% survival rate due to the extreme stress. But it was still neat to see!
And a few more random pics before ending the post
UT girl (she loves UT because her teacher is an alumnus) --I told her that her Opa and Popo both graduated from there as well...maybe she will too, someday (2028?)!
She also loves computers like her Daddy (and Opa)
Lastly, the VERY cold Cold Front that blew in this week, freezing almost all of our covered plants in the garden...she stayed warm!
