After the recent sunrise post, it's time to update about Thanksgiving!
We have been going to the beach/camping in some fashion for the past 6 years. We enjoyed a different condo this year and liked the we could share a 3-bedroom again.
This was the first year that I took off of work and Lucy took off from school so we could be on vacation for a full week. It was awesome!
We spent some time at the pool
And plenty of time at the beach (God had blessed us with very comfortable temperatures!)
We went to the jetty one morning and, after a failed attempt at catching crabs, we fed the ham/bread to the seagulls
Our plans changed a little as we had planned to spend half a week with my in-laws, and half the week with my parents...but plans changed when my sister's family came down with a stomach bug! My parents ended up joining us for Thanksgiving at the beach, which was pretty awesome!
We left the beach on Friday to spend one night camping on the way home...it was relaxing! Lucy was so exhausted we had to wake her up at 8:30
We got to attend a nature show put on by one of the park rangers before we left....
Sadly, we made a stop on the way home and my new car got bumped into. Fortunately, I was not at fault and the repairs are set to be completed this week...but what a way to end a great trip!
