New Glasses!

We picked up Lucy's new glasses today!

They have a shiny "L" (I think it's actually a G but she thinks it's cursive just for her)

She is excited about them!  My sweet li'l bug...

Lucy was wearing her "Litter Force" shirt that she was awarded on the last day of school.  She has been trying to be a good citizen at school and runs around at recess, picking up trash.  So she was the only one in her class that got this t-shirt for picking up trash.  I wonder where she gets it from.  :)

She is enjoying her summer vacation so far.  She wanted to be a goblin like in the fairy books she is reading, and came downstairs like this:

She reassured me "Don't worry Mom, it's a washable marker!"

The baby thought highly of the new costume as well

Thank goodness for the wash-ability of the marker since we were headed to playgroup that morning.  Her buddy from her dual-language class was there.

Don't be confused by their downtrodden look...they had climbed into this little area to pretend they were in jail and were pretending to be sad about it.  :)

And lastly, I wanted to remember her most recent science experiment with GOOP, part 4.  We finally had a successful batch.

Never a dull moment around here!!!
