As usual, it's been a busy few days!
Friday/Saturday was butchering day...me and my sis processed 10 roosters! It was a great learning experience and a good line for my resume. :)

That night, we taught Lucy how to play Scrabble. She did well! Her daddy's competitiveness came out and he won...but we girls did all right!
The next day was Super Bowl 2013... 49ers vs. Ravens...a great game! Lucy made "reading spots" before the game:
And her outfit that she wore to church and throughout the day (we had an old Steve Young jersey in the dress up box, although we were rooting for the Ravens)
Yes, that's my girl...with a 49ers jersey, wearing her daddy's Cowboys hat, waving "Hook 'Em". :)
And while we were at Oma and Opa's enjoying some fantastic brisket, the naughty kitty was engaging in his latest passion, unrolling toilet paper and paper towels from their rolls...
