Last Day of Kinder

What a jam-packed day the last day of school was!  It was awesome.  It was Kinder Luau day, where the classes rotated through stations outside.  First up was luau race, where kids formed 2 lines and each had to put on floaties, a towel, a hat, sunglasses, etc. and run to a marker and back:

Then came the limbo:

They headed to the classroom for a quick snack:

And then on to the water balloon toss.  I was Lucy's partner but didn't get splashed!

Then we had "pass the coconut" (similar to musical chairs):

After the luau, they had lunch and specials, then the Kinder performance.  It was awesome!

The classes headed outside to enjoy some refreshments afterwards:

And then on to the classroom party.  Mrs. Barnes gave Lucy her "diploma":

It was an emotional day.  The kids rushed up to give her hugs after she had a heart-felt goodbye!
