The first day of no-school should NOT be spent sick! Poor kid. She had a high fever, vomiting and all that comes with that. Fortunately, it looks like it's a 24-hour thing. She slept most of yesterday. It breaks my heart when kids are so sick they can't even smile.
But she woke up this morning and said her tummy was growling because "she missed breakfast". : )
We skipped church and the Serbin Picnic so she could recover completely and spent a blissful day just hanging out. I gave her a pedicure and read lots of Skippy Jon Jones. We picked up my parents from the airport this evening as they were returning from their Alaskan cruise/Seattle. Here we are waiting in the Cell Phone waiting lot:
