The monocular and magnifier

Today Lucy received the last session of vision instruction for her Kinder year, so she got to take her supplies home for the summer.  She is learning to how to use the dome magnifier and monocular.

She is also utilizing a curriculum that has a book and workbook specifically for kids learning to use monoculars and magnifiers.  It is called "Ben and Buzzy"--two bees, one of which has low-vision and needs the aid of the tools.  There are a lot of pictures of monoculars, magnifiers, eye charts, eye doctors, etc. in it!
