Boston, Day 4

Our 4th day in Boston was our official first day "on our own"...which meant we had to start figuring out this whole "mass transit" concept.  We decided to keep it simple and go to the St. Patrick's Day parade--the city's 114th annual!  Apparently it is one of the nation's largest and we felt privileged to get to attend.  It was rainy and overcast but that didn't stop the crowds!  We had to get on 3 separate subways to get there but followed the people wearing green.  :)

After the parade, traveling down the streets

After the parade, we headed to Boston Common and Boston Public Garden to see what was there.  We saw the famous "Make Way for Ducklings"
