Boston, Day 5

We dedicated today to visiting the New England Aquarium.  When we joined the line, one of the attendants escorted us to a different window at the entrance, held the door for us, and said that Lucy would have complimentary entry.  It was one of the first times she had gone out in public with her white cane.  Thank you to the staff at the aquarium for being very accommodating!

We took a break for lunch and headed across the street to Legal Sea Foods

And I got the clam chow-dah

We walked outside to see the sea lion exhibit, and we saw snow getting moved around.

This would be Nena's job if she lived here.  :)

She said that the starfish felt "scratchy, like Daddy's cheek"

She enjoyed watching one of the workers scrub items in the aquarium

Her #1 favorite thing about the entire Boston trip was getting to see the penguins at the aquarium.  We went back to where they were over and over again.  She couldn't get enough!  For days afterwards, she wrote stories and illustrations in her journal about the penguins.

After the aquarium, we strolled through South market

and she climbed dirty mountains of snow...
